Business Developer – QDA & Reference tools

(full time – home based)

Alfasoft is now looking for a Business Developer – QDA & Reference tools.

Company Overview:
Alfasoft is a leading distributor of software in Europe and have been distributing market leading research software for almost 30 years. Our customers, typically within Research and Development, turn to us when they need the most efficient, effective, and economically viable software solution to support their projects.

Role Purpose:
We are now looking for a talented Danish speaking Business Developer to help spread the use of software tools for Reference Management & Qualitative Data Analysis in northern Europe.

In this role you will engage with Researchers, Project Managers, and IT-professionals from sectors in the research space to generate new business and develop existing accounts.

You will be responsible for following up on opportunities in key accounts and generate new business based on the customer's needs. You are also expected to actively seek and generate entirely new business opportunities using phone, email, web meetings and events. Excellent communication and relationship building skills are essential to be successful in the role.

In addition to the above you will initiate and conduct sales campaigns and contribute with ideas for marketing activities.

The position is home-based and requires a high level of self-motivation and entrepreneurial drive. You will work in a team with international sales and support resources that can assist you and your customers with pre-sale demonstrations, training, and technical support.

Person Profile:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience from a sales role
  • Higher Education Degree
  • Fluent in Danish and English, skilled in German.
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work from home.
  • A go-getter with a "get stuff done" mindset
  • A proven ability to work autonomously
  • Entrepreneurial drive
  • Knowledge of the other Nordic languages is an advantage. 
  • Experience from software/IT sales is an advantage

Commission & bonuses based on agreed targets.
Salary will be in line with skills & experience.
